Thank you so much! I ordered this for mother’s day and it was early. My mom said it had a few buds and looked healthy, but it wasn’t in bloom so we didn’t know what kind or color it was. I had requested white or yellow or a combination of both. It bloomed ON mother’s day and my mom sent me a photo of the most beautiful exotic looking orchid that was a combination of white and yellow. I recieved my orchid 7 days ago and the plant looked sun damaged and burnt one or the leaves broke in half upon arrival the flowers finally opened on day 5 however the size is approximately 3 inches while the website states for the species sent the flowers are 5.5 inches I have seen this species flower in the past and the blooms were much larger than the plant I recieved I would not repurchase more plants in the future too disappointing after reading all the glowing reviews

I bought 2 orchids, one for myself & one as a gift. The delivery was rapid, there was obviously thoughtful consideration given to this “in bud” order, and one arrived with 3 about-to-bloom and the other with 4. The Cattleya orchid was a gift. It arrived superbly packaged and within two to three days was in bloom! It had no less than six buds which was beyond expectations. Thank you to Rob and his staff for taking such care of my order. This order was placed just prior to Hurricane Dorian possibly hitting the Ft. Pierce area and Thank God they were spared. But my order went out the following Monday so I know that between preparing for the hurricane and then getting back to normal was a tremendous task.

I am a 93 year old orchid lover who raises orchids in my room in a south facing window.
They brighten ever day and caring for them gives me a project I love. Until I found Odom’s
Orchids I had not been able to find an orchid dealer who would ship cattleyas in bud.
Obviously I probably don’t have time to wait for young plants to mature so getting an orchid in bud is sheer heaven!
The plant was carefully prepared for shipping and arrived in good condition and is now, six days later, in glorious full,bloom.
I can not recommend any orchid grower more highly than Odom’s!

I have only recently become interested in growing orchids. With a birthday coming up I decided to take a leap of faith and splurge on a cattleya. It arrived a week ago with four large buds. Between yesterday and today, two of them have opened. They are BREATHTAKING. I cannot even find a word for the colors. Maroon is maybe the closest with some yellow spots inside? The other two buds should open in about a week. And coming up is another bud stem that will have more orchids in a while. A month? Two? I don’t know how long it will take, but in this time of dealing with “house isolation” because of the coronavirus to have something so magnificent to look forward to is better than music for the soul. And the other younger orchids I ordered all arrived in great shape and in time will bring more magic into my apartment.

The plant I received was large-ish and had 3 buds. The main large bud is in the process of fully opening. I’m so excited to see what it will look like!

I was very pleased with the choice they sent me. The plant was in buf with 4 buds. The day after it arrived the first bud opened. The second day the second. A week later the third has opened and the last is moving forward now. I wish I would have written a desired color and one with a fragrance. Will do that next time.
