These Cattleya orchids are sold as ‘bare-root’, meaning they are not potted. These are 3-5+ pseudobulb front divisions cut off of some of our larger breeding stock plants. These do not make good gifts for the novice or beginner, but are meant for the serious cattleya collectors of hard-to-find, rare, and classic cattleya cultivars. If we have recently divided and potted any of these orchids, we will ship in pot to avoid additonal stress to the plants, otherwise they will be shipped bare-root.
