Orchids in Summer

Summer is a great time to spend with your orchids. Most orchids are in active growth so it is a good time to repot and check for any problems. It is also a good time to add a few more orchids to your collection so they have time to get used to their new home before winter comes along. Here in south Florida our orchids are used to the heat, but not so much to the cold. If you get your orchids now, they will  be able to acclimate as the weather gradually becomes cooler.
